FOR A CAUSE
Yoko is a nemophilist society built  to create awareness about the importance of our forest worldwide. The primary target is to engage many  people to work on their regional forest and actively participate in protecting its flora and fauna. The  idea is to bring the local community together to share and learn and nourish their forest and fight deforestation.
There are many NGO’S  and organizations trying to fight deforestation but they do not engage people specially the local community . As a result people  lack attention  and awareness on regional forest and the issues that needs attention.

USER RESEARCH
After conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the user i am designing for and their needs. Competitive audits gave new insights which were very helpful. The primary group of users identified were a group of nature enthusiasts ,philanthropists and climate experts.
The users problems includes lack of climate change and impact of deforestation among people. Though there are many who would wish to contribute to their regional forest do not have any direction on where to start. Therefore the goal is to bring such people together and actively participate and create awareness and build a lively community which gives back to the society the regional forest and individual too.

Since this project was first  of its kind and  had a very different approach, people served as our inspiration and provided insights on what they needed . Based on which this concept of nemophilist society was built ,Portraying the journey map here gives more depth about this project.
